Why This Reference Exists
The end of printed directories did not erase Zionsville's underlying records. Boone County's Assessor and Recorder keep property sources, Indiana controls voter access, and libraries preserve directories, maps, newspapers, and family files. Those custodians have different portals and rules. We bring their verified starting points, office contacts, known coverage limits, and fallback channels into one Zionsville reference.
What the Directory Includes
- Distinct search paths: records by street, historical city directories, and a one-resident lookup
- Named custodians: Boone County Assessor, Recorder, Clerk, election and health offices, plus Zionsville-area repositories
- Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
- Access rules: what Indiana law opens, what stays confidential, and where to send a precise public-record request
Limits of Our Role
This is a privately operated reference. It is not connected with the Town of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana agencies, courts, or libraries. These limits always apply:
- We cannot confirm whether a named person currently lives in Zionsville
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment
Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
